Privacy Policy — 7 Media Player / 7 Media Player Pro

This Privacy Policy explains how CDN NETWORK MEDIA SL (“we”, “us”), operator of the 7 Media Player and 7 Media Player Pro applications (the same app, published under both names on different stores — this policy covers both) and the website 7mediaplayer.com, handles information when you use our apps on Smart TV, mobile, desktop and streaming devices.

1. What 7 Media Player / 7 Media Player Pro is

7 Media Player (also published as 7 Media Player Pro) is a “bring your own playlist” (BYO) media player. We do not provide, host, sell, or control any TV channels, movies, or other media content. You add your own media playlist (provided by you or your own provider), and the app plays it. We are a player only.

2. Information we process

Device identity — a device identifier (the “MAC” shown in the app) and a device key, both generated by the app. On Android devices the app also sends the Android device ID when it activates, and, on TV devices and set‑top boxes where the system allows it, the device’s hardware network (MAC) address (this cannot be read on most phones and tablets). These identifiers are sent to our servers with the app’s requests, only to activate the app, keep your activation when the app is reinstalled or reset, and manage your trial/subscription. They are not used for advertising or tracking and are not shared with third parties.
Technical data — IP address, device model and app version. Used to operate the service, prevent abuse, and provide support.
Crash and diagnostic reports — when the app fails, it may send us a report with the device make/model, Android version, app version and technical error details. A report may include the host name of your playlist server, but never your playlist username, password or full playlist address.
Movie and series information — when you open a movie or series, its title and year are sent to our servers so we can show its description, poster, rating and cast from The Movie Database (TMDB). The request to TMDB is made by our servers; your device identifiers are not sent to TMDB.
Your playlist — the playlist URL/credentials you choose to add. Stored so the app can load your playlist. We do not use it for any other purpose and do not share it.
Payment data — if you choose to activate a paid plan, payment is handled by a third‑party processor; we do not store your card details.

We do not sell your personal data, do not show third‑party advertising, and do not track your viewing for advertising.

3. How we use it

To activate the app and enforce trial/subscription status.
To deliver the playlist you added and provide the player features (Live TV, Movies, Series, Search, Favorites, Catch Up).
To prevent fraud and abuse, and to provide customer support.

4. Network use

The app uses your device’s internet connection only for your own use of the app. It connects to:

the servers of the playlist provider you added, to load your playlist and play the streams you choose;
our servers at 7mediaplayer.com and our content delivery network, to activate the app, check your subscription, deliver app updates and receive crash reports;
public DNS-over-HTTPS resolvers (Cloudflare, Google, Quad9), only to look up the addresses of the servers above when your network’s DNS fails or blocks them;
YouTube, only if you choose to watch a trailer: the trailer opens in the YouTube app or website, under YouTube’s own privacy policy.

The app does not route, relay, proxy or forward any third-party traffic through your connection, IP address or device. It does not share, sell or lease your bandwidth or device resources, does not act as a proxy, relay, exit or peer-to-peer node, and contains no residential-proxy, bandwidth-sharing or similar SDKs or libraries.

5. Third parties

We use a payment processor solely to process activation payments. To show movie and series information, our servers send the title and year of the item you open to The Movie Database (TMDB); no device identifiers or personal data are included. We do not otherwise share your data with third parties, except where required by law.

6. Storage, security and retention

Data is stored on secured servers and transmitted over HTTPS. We keep device and subscription data for as long as your device is active, and delete or anonymize it on request or after a period of inactivity.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us. As the app uses an anonymous device identity (not your name), we may ask for your device MAC/key to locate your record.

8. Children

7 Media Player and 7 Media Player Pro are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
